Core Competencies Practice Performance & Expansion Direct responsibility for the growth, revenue generation, client base expansion and consulting staff development for his or her designated area. Achieves targeted revenue growth, rate per hour, client satisfaction, engagement quality, and profitability levels for his or her designated area. Sales Support & Resource Allocation Understands and assists the Practice Director with the management of the resource allocation process for his or her designated area. Key activities within this process include determining engagement staffing, closing, and launching the engagement. Assists sales on calls to existing/future clients and sales presentation, and/or written proposals for business expansion opportunities. Client Quality Service Direct responsibility for the engagement quality assurance process for his or her designated area. Key activities include conducting regular project reviews, providing engagement related feedback to the consultant, ensuring that project status reporting and that the end-of-engagement process is completed on schedule. Ensures that client quality surveys are sent and returned for each engagement. Assists the Practice Director with the development and implementation of quality improvement alternatives to reduce engagement related cycle time while minimizing errors. Achieves at or above expectations on client quality surveys for his or her designated area. Personnel Development & Management Direct responsibility for mentoring, career development and performance management for the professional staff assigned to his or her designated area. Ensures that the career development process is implemented for current staff and new hires. Counsels and advises professional staff in the interest of improving their overall performance. Provides timely guidance and direction to enhance staff professional competencies. Develops, conducts and delivers timely annual reviews for all direct-report personnel. Performs review and approval for time sheet and expense reports for all direct reports. Recruiting & Retention Direct responsibility for the recruiting process and employee retention for his or her designated area. Works with the recruiting department to interview and hire candidates who meet their designated area's guidelines and standards. Works with fellow Practice Managers/Directors to identify, design, implement and follow-up on retention related activities. |
