Senior Managing Consultant

Core Competencies

Client/Service Practice Expansion
Engage in sales calls to existing/future clients and assists in sales presentation and/or written proposals for business expansion opportunities within existing and new clients. Creates revenue and growth opportunities for MicroMillennium Management Consulting from existing clients.

Practice Performance
Achieve targeted revenue, growth, rate per hour, realization, receivable collection rate, client satisfaction, and engagement quality and profitability levels for assigned practice or area of responsibility.

Relationship Management
Maintain relationships with client organizations and management team. Works to ensure that MicroMillennium Management Consulting overall business objectives and needs are translated into well-defined and justified engagements. Ensures all engagement results are consistent with client expectations and that the highest levels of client satisfaction exist. Initiates a relationship and communications network between MicroMillennium Management Consulting and the client.

Engagement Leadership
Can be regarded as primary point of contact between client and MicroMillennium Management Consulting. Lead projects within larger engagements, provides integration services to multiple project engagements, and supplies a wide range of value-added consulting services. Has ability to institute project management skill sets, through teaching, applying, giving feedback and mentoring. Demonstrates awareness of linkage between project management, change management, business transformation, and process management. Has experience in end-to-end management of enterprise-wide/strategic initiatives, such as technology and process reengineering. Display familiarity with program management/project governance and its application. Determine and administer appropriate techniques to deliver high quality results. Has direct responsibility for and participates in client project, proposal and status report presentations.

People Leadership
Serve as a role model to professionals through demonstrated dedication to client service and production of routinely excellent work. Mentor professionals to build a superior consulting staff. Provide skills transfer to MicroMillennium Management Consulting personnel of project management and the application of structured methodologies. Encourages and maintains a positive team environment. Evaluate the assigned professional's performance on each project. Provide a nurturing environment and instructive feedback in the development of project management competencies throughout client environment.

Consulting Skills
Utilize the Project Management Professional consulting methodologies. Train professionals in the methodologies. Demonstrate issue-based consulting approach to problem solving. Demonstrate the ability to utilize client's planning and consulting methodologies.

Personal Effectiveness
Utilize communication skills to create cooperative working relationships, facilitate team understanding and utilization, and support group identity. Display ability to rapidly contribute to new and on-going project efforts.

Engagement Management - Ensure completion of engagement administrative tasks. Execute and monitor engagement administrative guidelines. Integrate use of technology as appropriate.

Industry
Recognized as an industry or functional area expert. Maintain a high level of viable industry skills relevant to specific client engagements to be able to provide value-added services.

Technical Specialization
Maintains a high level of expertise relevant to client engagements. Stay current with management consulting, project management tools and systems development methodologies.
